1. What qmetrics is — and is not

qmetrics.net ("qmetrics", "we") is an independent, informational pre-submission checking tool for UAE e-invoices. We are not an FTA/MoF-Accredited Service Provider (ASP), we do not transmit invoices to the Peppol network or to the Federal Tax Authority, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the UAE Ministry of Finance, the Federal Tax Authority, or OpenPeppol.

qmetrics.net is an automated syntax validation tool, not a certified tax agency, legal firm, or Accredited Service Provider (ASP). Use of this site does not constitute tax or legal advice.

2. No warranty of accuracy or completeness

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Validation results, rule pages, guides, fix suggestions, PDF/CSV reports and API responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. A "Compliant" result does not guarantee that an invoice will be accepted by any Accredited Service Provider, the Peppol network, or the Federal Tax Authority; a reported error does not guarantee that an invoice would be rejected. Official requirements change, and our rule set may lag or differ from what an ASP or the FTA enforces at any moment.

3. Your responsibility

You remain solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of every invoice you issue or submit, for verifying invoices through official channels and your Accredited Service Provider, and for complying with all applicable UAE laws and regulations, including VAT and e-invoicing legislation, Ministerial Decisions and FTA requirements. Final verification remains 100% your responsibility before you submit any data to an Accredited Service Provider or to the Federal Tax Authority; use of qmetrics does not transfer, reduce or share any of that responsibility. Always confirm requirements with the official specifications, your ASP, or a qualified tax professional before relying on any output of this service.

4. Waiver of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that qmetrics and its operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the service — including, without limitation, rejected or delayed invoices, administrative penalties or fines (such as those under Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025), loss of revenue or profit, loss of data, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages — even if caused by errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the service's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to qmetrics in the one (1) month preceding the claim — which for free usage is zero (AED 0). By ticking the acceptance checkbox and/or using the service you expressly waive any claim against qmetrics and its operator relating to the accuracy of validation results or to losses caused by reliance on them.

5. Privacy & data handling

Uploaded invoice files are validated in memory and never written to disk or database. Only compliance findings and a minimal invoice summary are retained for your report history — company names, item prices and invoice totals are not stored, and Tax Registration Numbers are stored in masked form only. No invoice contents or financial figures are shared with third parties. Anonymous reports are automatically purged after 24 hours. The REST API is stateless. Account data is limited to your email address and subscription state; payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details.

6. Acceptable use & subscriptions

You agree not to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the service. Paid plans renew monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal, taking effect at the end of the paid period. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice, and may update these terms — continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
